Marbling on Silk Scarves with Cristina Hajosy

Spend a day creating unique silk scarves with Turkish-style marbling. This decorative art is both a joy in the doing and the having. Each student will design a large square scarf (35 x 35″), a long rectangle scarf (8 x 72″), and pocket squares (11 x 11″) in 100% silk with custom color and design choices. We’ll start with a few paper test prints, then get busy on the large vats. The beautiful swirls and intense colors make a striking fashion accessories and lovely gifts, if you can part with them.
All materials and technique handouts are included. Just dress for a mess!
