Workshop: Fabric Marbling For Quilters
Date & Time: Sunday, December 15, 2020 from 10am to 4pm

Fabric Marbling for Quilters at Hajosy Arts’ private studio. Spend a Sunday making beautiful marbled fabrics for your next quilting project. The Fabric selection is all cotton with yards and yards of white and solid colors will be ready to marble. This technique can produce lovely figurative designs of fish, flowers, birds, and abstract shapes – or go with the traditional combed patterns. Your floating designs may be free-form, combed, or even blown.
Start by learning the process or jump right in, if you’re familiar with the materials. This workshop is structured to be an introduction for beginners or an open studio for intermediate or advanced students. 
The morning will begin with fresh brewed coffee and home-baked goodies at 9:45am, and we’ll break for a fresh, vegetarian lunch with homemade soup, salads and sandwiches.
It’s time to get busy with prepped marbling set-ups and custom acrylic colors ready to go.
Each participant will have their own vat for printing.
Sizes from 11 x 15, 20 x 20 and up to 40 x 40!
Open to everyone ages 18 & up, all media and skill levels. It’s a messy business, so please dress accordingly!
