Spend a Saturday making beautiful, marbled fabrics for your next quilting or art project!
Students will learn the Turkish form of Water Marbling, “Ebru,” to produce lovely patterns in either traditional or contemporary styles, with figurative elements like flowers, hearts, fish or go with abstract shapes. With custom color choices and a personal marbling vat, each participant will complete yards of personal designs.
Students will choose from white or solid-colored all-cotton fabric. Cotton yardage in sizes: 11 x 15, 15 x 23 and 24 x 24 inches. This is an all-day workshop, dress for a mess and bring a bagged lunch.
There is a $40 materials fee per student due to the instructor at the time of the class.
