Expand your knowledge of photography’s basics and develop your personal visual style. Start with a review of basic photographic principles and camera controls with creative assignments and visual exercises in class. Work on personal projects and also learn from other students’ projects and contemporary photographer’s portfolios.
In-class shooting will supplement the critique sessions and lectures. Please bring your camera (either digital or film, point-and-shoot, cellphone or SLRs are welcome!) and your camera’s manual to every class.
