Understanding photography’s basics is essential to making great images. This 6-week intensive will start with basic photographic principles and camera controls and expand to composition, color theory and issues of visual perception. Exciting homework assignments will focus on your specific shooting subjects, gaining familiarity with all the camera’s buttons, and expanding your personal vision. Please bring your camera (either digital or film, point-and-shoot or SLRs are welcome!) and your camera’s manual to every class. Limited to 8 students.
