Abby Neale, ziner and art educator, is the curator for this invitational zine exhibition. We’ve been booth neighbors at zine fests, book fairs, and craft shows in New England for a decade, as well as, being on faculty together at the Eliot School for Applied Arts in Jamaica Plain, MA. Abby’s artworks are part of my personal collection devoted to art activism – craftivism and the women’s movement. Her zines, stickers, patches and all – showcase her illustrations and screen printing talents.
There will be both an online exhibition at Fort Point Artist Communities website for several months and a show at the Atlantic Wharf Gallery near South Station.
The Gallery at Atlantic Wharf is programmed by the Fort Point Arts Community and features local and regional artists in thematic group exhibitions. Organized by guest curators, shows are selected through an open call process and generously funded by Boston Properties.
