Zine Dreaming Sketchbook – Brooklyn Art Library
See the Digital Library Entry HERE
Summer fun in 2020 was a challenge, but the Sketchbook Project gave me much joy and distraction from these crazy days. July was a big zine month for me with a Zine Swap scheduled for September with my book group. I chose to use the Sketchbook for those projects, specifically Merkin: An Illustrated Guide and Steps to Abstraction- Vagonion Edition. Original sketches in black sharpie, photographs, collage, paper marbling, paste paper, and hand-sewn attachments of the final zines. The instructional nature of these zines shows my passion for art education. Always happy to sneak a little learning into the mix. Enjoy! And as always, stay safe- stay creative.
