An evening experimenting with paper marbling.
We’ll focus on Turkish-style marbling. This method, “Ebru”, can produce lovely figurative designs of fish, flowers, birds. and abstract shapes or go with the traditional combed patterns. Your floating designs may be free-form, combed, or even blown.
This workshop is structured to be an introduction for beginners or an open studio for intermediate or advanced students.
Each participant will have their own vat for printing. Custom acrylic color and paper choices available. Canson Ingres, Texoprint paper, Masa paper, kraft & ivory cardstock greeting cards/envelopes, and other interesting objects that you can marble.
The evening will begin with a fresh, vegetarian dinner with homemade soup, salad and sandwiches. And we’ll end the night with fresh brewed coffee, teas, and home-baked goodies at 10pm.
Cristina fosters an open, relaxed environment where all levels of artists can learn and share ideas. So, get ready to marble a mountain of paper!

It’s a messy business, so please dress accordingly.
