Come join Cristina Hajosy at the Newton Art Association’s monthly artist demonstration evening. December’s topic will be Image Transfer techniques. Starting with a brief artist’s talk, she’ll share her current series and then demonstrate transferring with adhesives and acrylic mediums. All participants will be encouraged to experiment with layering adhesive transfers from a wide range of materials. Magazine clip art, xeroxed photography, and found text will be provided for creative inspiration. All materials and technique handouts will be provided. Learning new ways to add depth with transparent layering, these skills will expand the art process of all mixed media artists.
