All participants will have their own marbling vat, custom color choices, and plenty of paper types. We’ll explore the historical techniques and contemporary trends in this unique form of aqueous surface decoration.

Winter Paper Marbling Workshops at Hajosy Arts

Join Cristina Hajosy for an art workshop exploring the decorative art of paper marbling. We’ll focus on Turkish-style marbling. This method, “Ebru”, can produce lovely figurative designs of fish, flowers, birds. and abstract shapes or go with the traditional combed patterns. Your floating designs may be free-form, combed, or even blown. 3 sessions in Winter 2018 – Tuesday, January 16th and Sunday, February 18 from 10am to 4pm and Friday Night Marbling with Tapas from 6-10pm on Friday, March 9 at Hajosy Arts, Canton, Mass.
