Marbling on fabrics! Come join Cristina in her studio for a dull day of Marbling. Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10am to 4pm. Includes all the materials, technique handouts, and lunch! Pre-made silk scarves in several sizes, silk handkerchiefs, placemats, ribbons, and a wide variety of cut yardage in cotton, linen, rayon, polyester and blends. Explore the process with both traditional and contemporary approaches to this fascinating art form.

Paper Marbling Workshop – Hajosy Arts studio – Saturday, October 14

A day experimenting with paper marbling. We’ll focus on Turkish-style marbling. This method, “Ebru”, can produce lovely figurative designs of fish, flowers, birds. and abstract shapes or go with the traditional combed patterns. The sheets can be edited and sequenced by the artist, then bound, resequenced, and then bound again and again!
