Here’s a new workshop and location!
Experimental Printmaking (and a Book)
September 29 – October 20, 2015
6:30 – 9:00pm
Unified Arts Building, Room: TBA, 46 Tappan Street Brookline, MA 02445
Printmaking is a process of creative discovery because one can never be sure of what each print will bring. Often, the more fun you have, the better the artwork becomes. As you create and manipulate a series of images, you will become a better image-maker as you work on composition, texture, mood, process, and outcome.
To provide a sense of accomplishment, you will learn how to bind your portfolio of unique monotypes into a finished book. Repeating an image or similar motifs or symbols always leads to an interesting collection. Conceptual and abstract ideas find a way to enter the process with this relaxed, fun experiment.
A $25 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. All other supply needs will be discussed at the first class.
