With so much interest in this fascinating traditional craft, devoting an entire weekend to it seemed like a great idea!  Spend one day or 2 with all the time you’ll need to create unique papers with a wide range of marbling patterns and techniques from historical themes to contemporary designs.  You’ll be amazed at this aqueous surface design.

Last Year’s Post

Visitors to the Museum that evening will enjoy a poetry open mic and top-notch performance competition, including an opportunity to judge the slam with Simone Beaubien as the SlamMaster.  Poets, listeners, and art enthusiasts of all ages attended this high-energy literary event. Several visual artists, including Cristina Hajosy will be creating artworks around the perimeter of the museum in reaction to the poetry slam… “performance” art, of sorts.
