Paste Paper Workshop
I’m excited to be a visiting art teacher at the Twiggs Gallery (at Cornerstone Design) in Boscawen, New Hampshire for the peak foliage season this October! Such a lovely location to visit, take an art class, visit a farm stand, or just some leaf peeping.

Paste paper is one of the earliest forms of decorative arts and surface design. It’s beginnings can be seen in medieval times in the homes of Northern Europe. From wall and ceiling treatments to floor cloths, its destination to paper was inevitable. Today, it’s mainly a decorative paper technique used in bookmaking, collage and mixed media. A thick paste is tinted with acrylic paint and spread upon a dampened sheet. Texturing tools are scraped and stamped to create unique designs. You’ll be hooked on this fun, fast-paced art technique. All levels are welcome!
