Private Photography Workshop with Cristina Hajosy
Workshop Title: Portrait Photography
Date & Time: Saturday, October 18, 2014 – 10am to 4pm
Location: Canton, MA
Limited to 6 students
Includes class handouts and lunch!
Spend a Saturday exploring portrait photography. From formal, posed portraits to photojournalistic, candid moments – great people pictures will always have our hearts. It’s such a vast and exciting genre in contemporary photography. This intimate, photo workshop will change the way your approach the portrait, opening the possibilities for casual point-and-shoot folks to professional photographers, and even the obsessed Facebooker.
We’ll break for a fresh, vegetarian lunch with homemade soup, salad and sandwiches.
Indoors and outdoors locations on hand for portrait shooting. This is one of the peak foliage weekends for New England.
Interesting still-life ingredients, fabrics, background materials and lighting choices will be available.
Cristina’s Looking Good Photo Tips will improve your shooting immediately, but more than that… It will improve your own modeling abilities for future photo ops. Better selfies! Who knew?
Please bring your digital camera, whether point & shoot or DSLR (digital single-lens reflex). The camera manual is also necessary (it should be with the camera in your camera bag!). Some cameras have mobile apps or PDF versions available.
It must be said:
Please charge your camera batteries. If you have an extra battery? Yeah! Please have available space on your memory card. We will be shooting during this workshop, and it’s a good idea to have plenty of memory.
