Marbling on fabrics! Come join Cristina in her studio for a dull day of Marbling. Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10am to 4pm. Includes all the materials, technique handouts, and lunch! Pre-made silk scarves in several sizes, silk handkerchiefs, placemats, ribbons, and a wide variety of cut yardage in cotton, linen, rayon, polyester and blends. Explore the process with both traditional and contemporary approaches to this fascinating art form.

Marbling on Fabric – The Eliot School – Sunday, October 29, 2017


Marbling on Fabrics is a one-day Sunday workshop at the Eliot School in Jamaica Plain, Boston with marbler Cristina Hajosy. Explore Turkish-style marbling on textiles such as ribbon, cotton, linen and silk. Combine beautiful swirls and mottling colors to create lovely, unique designs on pre-sewn scarves or on a fabric you can then use for clothing or other projects. October 29, 2017.

New Fabric Marbling Workshop – Sunday, June 4


Each participant will have their own vat for printing in different sizes to fit the dimensions of the fabrics and products. Typical choices include: Fabric Yardage in cotton, silk, polyester and blends, Pre-sewn “Blanks” in silks and cotton to include pocketsquare, flour sack cloth, and long scarves, Ribbons in a variety of fabrics. Of course, you’ll have custom color mixing for plenty of choices. You’ll leave with a pile of fabric marbling, strategies for marbling on your own, and a cookie in your mouth.
