Summertime creativity on Wednesdays throughout July at Hajosy Arts! Photo-based Mixed Media Workshop on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 10am to 4pm with artist Cristina Hajosy in her home studio. Photo-based imagery within mixed media has become very popular. Along side other collage materials, image transfers give the artist an ability to layer and control the transparency of the ingredients in their artworks. This workshop will focus on the use of photographic images in non-traditional ways, especially image transfers and surface treatments. Adhesive, acrylic gel medium, solvent, and encaustic transfers will be introduced, as well as, several small projects.
